I seriously need to pull it together and study, but I’m distracted…this is another version of a song I posted earlier (actually, the first place I heard it) and I quite possibly like it even more than the other version. I think Didi needs to record just this.

My roomie found this, so I can’t take credit for it, but this blog is fabulous! Although there are the rare occasions when I ask myself, “Why is Jessica wearing that?”, I cannot get enough of what this girl wears! It’s creative, fashion-forward (but not overly), and practical.

Ok, remember what I said about music the other day? Certain notes, melodies, etc? Well, here’s another one. The entire song is great but the last chorus - mmm. That’s all I can say.

Was listening to this song and reminded of how one day I want to be walking through the streets of London with this song kind of playing in the background…you know, like a movie. :)
Someone sent this to me and I found it comforting, as it is an issue I have wrestled with many times and continue to do so. Students looking for careers (like me!) and those already established should read this.
Both these pictures were on the front page of the New York Times. I found them heartbreaking, ironic, and inspiring. They made me think of the following scriptures and how true the bible is:

Kara Dioguardi & Jason Reeves - “Terrified”
This is my current cannot-stop-listening-to. It’s not just the words and the melody, but certain notes that just make me melt. I don’t know if you (whoever you are) ever feel that - that depth and sound and rawness in a song or just a note that makes you think “yes! THAT’S it.” Music like that makes me grateful I can hear.

I loved this post on fabrics! In the last six months or so, I’ve begun to develop an appreciation for the creative outlet that fabrics are. From bedding to furniture to wall art…perfect way to spice things up, show some individuality, AND it can be cheap!
